Exploration
When a player has access to a Star Ship, they will be able to explore the solar system.
The Exploration Module requires players to make multiple, cascading decisions with de-escalating degrees of commitment.
The first decision a player has to make is about which Region to explore. There are many Regions available in Two Moons, but at a given time a player can only select from a small limited pool. In game, this is based on orbital and gravitational patterns as the Star Ship travels. Once the player has chosen their region, they will be in that region for one week. At the end of that time they will be able to select a new region to explore.
Once a player has chosen a region, next, they will have to choose a Landmark. Every Region has multiple Landmarks, and the player will have many to choose from. Various Landmarks will only be available based on the Star Ships stats and progress through the story. Once the player has chosen their Landmark, they will be at that Landmark for two days. At the end of that time they will be able to select a new Landmark within their current region to explore.
Lastly, a player must choose an action to perform at the Landmark they are currently visiting. There are multiple actions available, each with different loot tables, skill usage, and outcomes. Actions usually take less than an hour, and your Star Ship can only perform one Action at a time.
For example, if a player salvages
at a Mine

, they will probably find some raw materials they can use to craft a ship upgrade.
